Naadaalum Makkal Katchi (NMK)

“With the lofty ideal that political change can only be brought about by honest youth, he united confident, courageous, honest, vibrant students, youth and social activists to eradicate corruption and bribery, protect natural resources and bring about good development in the country.

Following that, in the 2009 parliamentary elections, he contested from two parliamentary constituencies, Kallakurichi (7,009 votes) and Tiruvannamalai (0490 votes), gaining immense political experience.

Following that, in the 2011 Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly general election, he contested from Rishivanthiyam Legislative Assembly constituency and secured 1860 votes. The above legislative It is noteworthy that in the general election, he contested in 35 seats in Tamil Nadu along with youth from various organizations.

Following that, he formally registered the Nadalum Makkal Katchi with the Election Commission of India. Its registration number is 56/194/2020-2021. Following that, in the last 2021-Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly general election, he fielded candidates in the following assembly constituencies: Tiruvannamalai, Nagapattinam, Tiruvottiyur, Tirukkovilur, Rishivanthiyam, Madhavaram, Vikravandi, Namakkal, and Krishnagiri, and made the Nadalum Makkal Katchi contest. 

Following that, he fielded candidates in successive rural and urban local body elections and in the last 2023-Erodu East Legislative Assembly by-election, and made the Nadalum Makkal Katchi contest.

Following that, in the last 2024-Parliamentary election, He approached the Election Commission of India to contest on behalf of the National People’s Party in the two states of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, obtained an “auto symbol”, and fielded candidates in the following constituencies: Tiruvallur, North Chennai, Central Chennai, South Chennai, Sriperumbudur, Tiruvannamalai, Kallakurichi, Chidambaram, Tiruchirappalli, Mayiladuthurai, Coimbatore, Erode, and Krishnagiri, and made the National People’s Party contest.

In the last 2024-National Assembly elections, the parties that contested the most seats in Tamil Nadu, namely, Naam Tamilar Katchi (39), Bahujan Samaj Katchi (39), AIADMK, BJP, and DMK, have gradually grown the National People’s Party to become the 6th largest party, with the most candidates (12+1). Candidates were intimidated and withdrawn in many constituencies. Candidates’ petitions in some constituencies, including Villupuram and Tiruppur It is noteworthy that the nomination was rejected.

Similarly, in the Banglore Central parliamentary constituency in Karnataka, the nomination was accepted, but the candidate was threatened, so the nomination was withdrawn.

Subsequently, he has continued to perform his democratic duty by fielding a candidate in the Vikravandi assembly by-election held in 2024, and subsequently by fielding a candidate in the Erode East assembly by-election held in 2025 (392 votes).

The Nadalum Makkal Katchi has appointed in-charges not only in Tamil Nadu, but also in the states of Puducherry, Karnataka, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh, and is developing the Nadalum Makkal Katchi as a national political party. He is also taking efforts to develop the party in other states.

Currently, he is appointing district in-charges in all the districts of Tamil Nadu, strengthening the party, and continuing to do constructive public work.
